1 Day Workshop at Olde Mill Yoga Saturday, June 21st 1-3:30pm As the seasons transition from cold and wet to warm and dry our bodies, minds and spirits also go through transition and change. If we are not prepared for this change, the shift in seasons can cause imbalance; creating problems in the body, mind and/or spirit. Learning the principles of Ayurveda can help you find balance so you may embrace summer fully and enjoy it optimally.In this workshop we will learn about our personal Doshas (constitutional type) and what Yoga postures, foods, daily cleansing routines, meditation, mantra, pranayama and life approach can be used to obtain balance and well being. The workshop includes lessons about Ayurveda, self tests, mantra, meditation and a tri-doshic yoga flow; each week focusing on a specific topic.

There are seven energy centers in the body, called chakras. In this workshop you will learn about the chakras and how they reflect what's happening in your body, mind and life. We will explore ways to balance and restore them by infusing color therapy, visualization, toning, affirmation, meditation and sound with a chakra-specific yoga flow.
